Foundations of Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (CDRFI) and impactful Civil Society Engagement - eLearning Course

This self-paced eLearning course offers a comprehensive introduction to Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (CDRFI), covering conceptual and policy frameworks, practical applications, and integration into national policies. It highlights the role of civil society organizations (CSOs) in advocacy at national, regional, and international levels, and examines the benefits, limitations, and challenges of CDRFI solutions. The course consists of five sections with mixed media content, quizzes, and a forum for learner engagement. The course introduces the basic concepts and understandings necessary for CLIMERS to engage in the CDRFI discussions.

Create Agency & Change Projects
Seize the chance to drive a relevant issue forward by forming small virtual teams with other CLIMERs globally to jointly work on a concrete project of your own design. Your team will be supported by the MCII coordinators to facilitate contacts or material if needed, but you are given the power to develop, drive and implement your project, resulting in the opportunity to present your findings to key stakeholders at a major international event.
